BIO At age 16, Greg Morton got first job at a local department store, as a P.A. announcer.  That same voice that grabbed the attention of shoppers,  recently wowed judges, on the season 14 premier of America’s Got Talent.    Howie Mandel said, “I can’t believe there isn’t a banner with your name on it in Vegas!”  After 35 years of entertaining audiences worldwide, opening for Celine Dion, Harry Connick Jr. and Luther Vandross at Radio City Music Hall - appearing on Just for Laughs, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, Comic’s Unleashed, and his own Dry Bar Comedy Special, entitled, ‘I Started Out as a Baby’ - he received a standing ovation, and four yeses for his 2 min. Star Wars routine.  The force is definitely with him.

Greg Morton Espouses the benefits of Yoga

As many of you know, I have battled with weight loss for the past two years.  I have said, over and over to myself, “I’ve gotta lose weight, I’ve gotta lose weight… or hang around bigger people.”  I’ve tried everything from inline skating to Wii Fit.  You remember Wii Fit?  The One hundred-dollar bathroom scale that insults you!  If I want to be insulted by a video game, I’ll go online and get tea-bagged by some 14-year-old kid playing Halo.  Who needs that kind of humiliation?

Nothing can break these bonds of sedentary life  Every form of exercise I’ve tried ends in personal injury.  Until now.

GREG MORTON SAYS… “HEY THERE IKEA”

While shopping for furniture the other day, I got this inspiration for a song parody about the frustrations of putting Ikea furniture together.  Don’t get me wrong.  I love Ikea.  Half the furniture in our home is Ikea.  Its design is clean and simple, it compliments any decor and it’s relatively inexpensive.  It’s also the number one cause of domestic disputes.

I also saw this as an opportunity to test my iPhone 4 camera.  This entire video was shot using my iPhone 4, using some of the apps available on the app store like the TimeLapse app and the 8mm app.  I also used the Animation Creator HD on my iPad to create some of the animations in the film.  Enjoy!

This weekend, December 9th and 10th, Greg Morton makes a special guest appearance on the ‘One Man 2 Chicks & a Bay-bee Show.  It’s a special Toys for Tots benefit brought to you by comedian Bob Zany.  Author of the Zany Report heard weekly on The Bob and Tom Show!

Join Bob Zany, Greg Morton, Illusionist Keith West, and the Zanettes at the Argosy Casino Music Hall for a very special evening of laughter and entertainment.  Wow!  Someone pinch me, I feel like I’m in Vegas!  Now that’s how you put a show together bay-bee!

Showtimes are at 7:00 and 9:00 pm and anyone donating an new unwrapped toy gets in free!

Movember is Over

We may have come to the official end of Movember, but there is still time to help out.  Please support our efforts by making a donation at http://mobro.co/MovemberIndy or at the very least I encourage everyone of you even if you don’t donate, PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET YOURSELF CHECKED!  It’s the least you can do to avoid being the 1 in 6 men worldwide that are diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in their lifetime.  Let’s work together and change attitudes towards men’s health.

For all you ‘Mo-Bro’s out there don’t shave just yet! You can also help out by coming to this year’s End of Movember Gala which is THIS FRIDAY!!! (that is if you live near Indy).

  Friday December 2nd – The 3rd annual End of Movember Gala Party!!

o    Back for 2011 we’ll be at Tomlinson Tap Room inside Historic Indianapolis City Market. Be there at 6pm and we’ll party until 10 or so!

o    Entry will be $10 with all proceeds raised going straight to Movember.

o    Remember to bring cash or checks! We have some great raffle prizes and sweet silent auctions again this for year!

o    We’ll have wonderful craft beer from all over the state of Indiana and beyond. Including beer from Sun King, Flat 12 Bierwerks, Rock Bottom, The Ram, Fountain Square Brewing, Upland, Twisted Crew, New Belgium and Triton Brewing!

o    There will also be delicious food from City Market vendors Papa Roux and Three Days in Paris!
