It has been more than 15 years since comedian Greg Morton’s last appearance in Syracuse, NY. FIFTEEN YEARS… or MORE! This week, May 8 – 11, 2014, Greg Morton will appear at the Funny Bone @ 10301 Destiny USA Drive Syracuse, NY 13204 (315) 423-8669. Anyone who remembers the days of Bruno’s Wise Guys and Joe DeLion’s Viva Debris may remember Greg Morton’s high energy closer, (and even that has changed). Needless to say, a lot has happened in over 15 years. The iPhone, Flat Screen TV, … Oprah will own the L.A. Clippers. Patrons from the past will obviously be treated to some new material.

Here’s something to get excited about. I’ve spent a lot of time increasing the number of twitter followers for @GregMortonComic and the success has been underwhelming. I’ve had some great tweets this month, but your all-time favourite seems to be this one.

My goal is to have over 20,000 followers within the next three years, so that I can start my own cult. Then the dough will really start rolling in. Heh, heh.

Why 20,000? I don’t know, it just sounds like a nice round number. If I set my goal at a million followers, I may have to consider building some sort of structure or place of worship and that’s a little out of my budget right now. I just want to pay off my credit cards, get a few posters printed, and then I’m done…
